Kerry is an experienced LCSW, former professor, and talented regulatory consultant who is known for her second-to-none effectiveness - which is nationally recognized with insurance carriers - at crafting DORA Response letters in favor of therapists’ interests. Kerry is brilliant, strong, and fiercely committed to therapists because of her vested ownership in the work.
Kerry believes deeply in the work that the mental health community does for Colorado and its communities. She is committed to using her gifts and talents to protect therapists through licensure defense support and education.
MEET Jane
Jane is an experienced LCSW who specializes in animal-assisted therapy with families. Jane’s unique skills are rooted in her commitment to upholding human rights, as evidenced by past service with such organizations as The Peace Corps. Her unwavering character and kindness are matched only by her superior intellect and uncanny ability to hear others well and succinctly identify their needs.
Jane brings conviction, brains, and immense interpersonal relationship skills to the Fida Law team. She specializes in caring for Fida Law clients, identifying your needs, and assisting the team in delivering services to make the client experience smooth.

Dr. Burkhart, EdD, LPC, is a fixture in Colorado’s LPC community and deeply cares for his profession. Dr. Burkhart is tireless in his annual legislative efforts to protect and defend therapists, and he is dedicated to encouraging therapists to educate themselves on their legal rights and obligations.
Dr. Burkhart has strived to build a network of legal support for therapists long before working with law firms. Fida Law’s clients benefit from Dr. Burkhart’s legislative knowledge, which is concurrent with significant developments in the field.
